Its actually full of nonsense

Its Unbelievable. Thought it was fake, but later found that snopes.com had verified this. This Photo, formed by 18000 posed soldiers, was taken in July 1918 at Camp Dodge, Iowa, as a part of a planned promotional campaign to sell war bonds during World War I
